Simple Ways to Copy the Contact Files from Your Old Phone to the Windows Phone OS Device

Sometimes, the most inconvenient time to have a new phone is to copy the entire contents of the contacts from old phone to the new phone. And, if you are currently just bought a phone that runs on operating system of Windows Phone 7.0 or above, you no longer need to copy the contacts from old phone into the new Windows Phone OS manually that will require a long time and will be very boring.

You can transfer contacts from old phone to the Windows Phone OS device by using Bluetooth connection. Here are the tips on how to transfer your contact file from old phone to the windows Phone OS Device you can try :
  1. Slide homescreen menu on the main screen of Windows Phone OS device to the right.
  2. Select the Transfer Contact on the bottom row of the menu, is on the bottom of the Camera menu.
  3. Select the Transfer Contact, you will find the menu display Preparing. At the bottom of the menu Preparing, press the Continue button to continue the process.
  4. Activate Bluetooth by sliding your Windows Phone Switch to On.
  5. Activate Bluetooth on the old phone. Make sure your Bluetooth in discoverable status.
  6. After that, Windows Phone will automatically find the Bluetooth is active. After detecting the presence of old mobile phones, select the name of the old phone and then click Ok.
  7. Wait until the phone to pairing. After completing the pairing, the phone will display the status of ready. And select Continue, then the phone will continue to transfer the contact data. Wait until the data transfer is completed, after completion of the transfer, then your Windows Phone will declare the status of Finished. Then select Done.
